"Emergency admission for my racing heart"

About: Victoria Hospital / Cardiology

(as a service user),

I was feeling awful so I was seen firstly by urgent care after phoning 111. The lady doctor was lovely and arranged my admission to Admissions 1 then I was transferred to ward 43 where my racing heart was monitored.

The nursing staff were kind and reassuring. The cardiology staff were kind and were looking into why this was happening.

A student Dr was so kind reassuring me and talking to me. His name was Johnny and he will make a brilliant Dr with his kind manner. A cardiologist gave me an echo again and was very reassuring.

I had my blood pressure medicine changed to help my heart. The nurses on this ward were very attentive and friendly. Thanks again for looking after me.
