"Because of her approach from the start I felt safe"

I had appointments with Debbie at inclusion. She won't take credit but because of her approach from the start I felt safe, she was the way a mum should be.

I've been heavily abused throughout my life, I'm not a victim but I am sad. Sad to the point of self harm and suicidal thoughts.

I got dropped off at Debbie's door and she helped me just by being her, it's not a formula it's caring down inside that makes it a vocation and not a job.

She did one thing no one had done for years. That one thing had the domino effect that resulted in escape.  I cannot thank Debbie enough. Xx
