"Great if you live in Bowthorpe but..."

About: Trinity & Bowthorpe Medical Practice

I joined this practice (Trinity Street) because it is local and I can walk to it in 10 minutes as I don't own a car. Every time I try and make a GP appointment now they offer it at Bowthorpe - which is very hard to get to from here (£10 each way in a taxi or 4 buses). To get one locally there is often a several week wait. The same with flu jab - I was sent a text offering it - but it's only available to under 60s in Bowthorpe.

Dear Patient

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and we are sorry that you have received a poor experience.

We often offer the next available appointment which in some cases may be at our sister surgery but we always have appointments available at both sites but the wait may be longer. Flu vaccinations were offered at both sites but the Saturday clinics we offer are at Bowthorpe due to the sheer numbers of patients and the parking available. We have experienced shortness of staff in recent months but please rest assured appointments are available at out Trinity Street Surgery.
