"May put some people off from accessing services."

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / Gosport

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Can you assure clients that collusion with G.P's is kept to a minimum as this may put some people off from accessing services.

Thank you for your feedback - If we are prescribing medications to service users, we need consent from the service user to be able to share information with GP's. It would be helpful to understand the situation if you feel that a staff member has colluded with a GP and would happily meet with you to discuss your situation. I encourage all my staff to be open and honest with service users so we can continue a transparent therapeutic relationship.
