"Got the best care and we are very thankful."

About: General and specialist medicine / Ward 24 Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response

(as a relative),

Recently in October 2023, my sister was unwell and ambulance were called. Our family are so grateful for the care given to my sister by ambulance crew, A and E staff and staff from ward 24. They all looked after her so well, done all tests required, got her treated fast and she is now so much better thanks to their medical expertise. Despite the busy hectic health service problems like short staffing levels and not enough beds and overcrowded a and e departments we were so happy that our sister got the best care and we are very thankful.

Good morning Sunshine13,

My team and I really appreciate you taking the time to post your appreciation of the care your sister got whilst an inpatient in ward 24.

I am so glad to hear that the current pressures in the health care system did not have a negative affect on her experience and yours also as a relative.

I hope your sister continues to improve.

Take care,

Breidge
