"Nothing was a problem, everything went very smooth"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Plastic Surgery & Burns (wards 45, 47, 48 & 49)

(as a service user),

I went to GRI A&E department as I had a cat bite. I was triaged and seen very quickly.

Once I was seen by a plastics specialist a plan of action was agreed and I was transferred to ward 47.

I had various treatments and was fasted and took to theatre late at night for surgery. I was kept in overnight and seen again on the ward round early the next morning.

Arrangements were made for my discharge and return appointments and medication was given to me. There was no rush for me discharge, so this allowed my husband to come and collect me. The whole team were amazing, and also happy at there work. Nothing was a problem, everything went very smooth.

Thank you for the excellent care.
