I was sent to Glasgow Dental Hospital to have my wisdom tooth removed as I have a blood condition and the hospital I attend had tried to remove it but could not. That was not their fault I have strong teeth and long roots.
I attended Glasgow Dental Hospital after a consultation and a previous appointment to have it x-rayed.
I cannot fault the staff in any way, I was anxious and apprehensive as I had suffered TMJ Syndrome after the last attempt at trying to remove my tooth.
The staff put me at ease, talked me through what would happen. The person taking my tooth out was brilliant, held my jaw while applying pressure to remove my tooth. My tooth was removed and I did not even realise it.
Afterwards I had to go back to the other hospital to be checked over due to my blood condition. All was well.
But a big thank you to the staff in Glasgow Dental Hospital, never felt a thing, not even the stitches going in or any pain that night. Would not hesitate in going back there for dental treatment.
