"First Class Care"

About: Trauma & orthopaedics / Orthopaedic National Treatment Centre

(as a carer),

My Mum had a hip replacement op and had to spend 10 days in the Admissions Ward, in the National Treatment Centre at the Victoria Hospital. Normally patients are there for one or two days but due to her other ailments causing enormous pain she was in longer. Every member of staff went above and beyond to make her comfortable. The level of care was exemplary, she was shown nothing but kindness from everyone who dealt with her. Ps the food was excellent.

Good afternoon am20,

Thank you very much for taking the time to post feedback regarding your mother's recent stay with us in the National Treatment Centre.

Unfortunately she was with us a bit longer than normal, however it reassuring to hear that her prolonged stay was made more bearable with the positive care she received from all the staff...and the bonus of good food.

I will share your comments with the staff.

Kind Regards

SCNLorna Bellingham
