"Son post surgery"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Orthopaedics (Ward 3C)

(as a parent/guardian),

My 5 year old son has corrective surgery on both feet. From the moment we entered the hospital at 10am we were made so welcome. Having the room beforehand helped my son settle in. The ward staff were amazing, the team from the Anaesthetic department when the time came were first class also. The Orthopaedic Surgeon was great at advising us of what was happening, timescales and the risks. Post op, the level of care was fantastic and it made a really stressful time more manageable for us all.

A big thanks to all involved.

Dear N-A,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback.

It is great to read such positive comments and I am delighted our amazing teams were able to make a stressful time more manageable.

We try very hard to ensure our patients and their families are kept informed with timely updates and relevant information.

I will pass your lovely comments on to all those involved in your sons care.

I hope your son continues to recover well at home.

Best wishes,

Steff
