I would just like to share my sincere gratitude to ED Triage nurse Emma, Dr Rowntree (3south) and surgeons Mo and Sarah for looking after my father in ED recently when he presented with a stoma obstruction.
Their prompt actions and dignified care meant that he was seen, treated and discharged from ED the next morning pain free. This prevented an unnecessary admission to hospital and use of a bed.
