The care and support I have received during my treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma had been incredible. My consultant Dr Clark and specialist nurse Lee Anne have been so supportive at the most difficult time if my life.
The staff in the Medical day unit were always cheerful while providing Picc care. And the staff on ward 11 monklands made receiving chemo as easy as they could, the care and compassion the staff show is just amazing. They make what isn't always the most pleasant procedures that little bit easier, despite being incredibly busy.
Special mention to staff nurse Ainslie whose ability to put you at ease (and get a venflon sited in rubbish veins) was second to none. Truly grateful to these wonderful NHS Lanarkshire staff.
