(as a parent/guardian),

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to my GP practice , East Renfrewshire’s CAMHS team and the Connect ED. Team in Glasgow .

My daughter was admitted having issues with eating and we immediately sought help from our GP as we weren’t sure what to do . She had a Face To Face appointment given within a couple of days followed by a referral to the specialist eating disorder team and local CAMHS team and bloods all within one week .

We have had amazing support for her from all of these teams and can’t believe how quickly her treatment has been started and how helpful all the teams have been given the current stresses in the NHS.

We would like to thank everyone of them for their caring professional attitudes for something which has been very difficult for us as a family but we have felt completely supported by phone and Face To Face appointments. .

My name is Julie Fitzpatrick and I am the Interim Chief Nurse for East Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership.

I can see that there are a variety of services that you contacted to get the help and support needed for your daughter.

I will pass on your feedback to the GP Practice via the Clinical Director of East Renfrewshire HSCP and to the Connect-Eating Disorders specialist service for all children and young people.

The East Renfrewshire CAMHS team are a hosted service managed by East Dunbartonshire HSCP. I will pass on your feedback to Leanne Connell, Chief Nurse.

I am sure she will be delighted to see that your experience was positive, and all the services worked together to provide quick access to the right treatment and the support given from phone and face to face appointments. The support for the whole family and the caring professional attitudes are particularly assuring to read from your feedback.
