"Everyone was kind and lovely"

About: Antrim Area Hospital / MRI Unit

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter was referred for an MRI in Antrim. When we arrived we were greeted by Amanda the admin/clerical and this post is basically to say how amazing she was.

Amanda spoke to me but also to my daughter directly and involved her in the process, even though she is only seven. She told her how the MRI would go and asked her if she would like me in the room rather than assuming I would just go in. She gave her a voice and allowed her to make a decision. She got her a colouring sheet and crayons to keep her busy while waiting, and when she realised there was only a couple of colours she went and got more for her. She was absolutely fantastic, from our initial meeting to leaving and that was so important.

We then met Leanne and Claire for her actual MRI and they were also fantastic, friendly and explained everything so well to my daughter. My daughter was delighted by her certificate afterwards! She said that everyone was kind and lovely and wants another MRI to see them again! (Although we did say hopefully not!)

Thank you everyone at the Antrim Area Hospital MRI department

Thank you so much for taking the time to give feedback on your daughter's recent experience with the Antrim MRI team. It is very much appreciated. Matt.
