"Spect scan at the Victoria hospital glasgow"

About: New Victoria Hospital / X-rays and scans

(as a relative),

My husband has recently been diagnosed with frontal lobe dementia, attending various professionals who have all been exceptional, today we had appointment for a spect scan which I was dreading as this and any appointment causes major anxiety for my husband.

On arriving at the hospital we were met by Georgie and then by Louise who would carry out the scan.  The care and attention given to my husband was outstanding and just shows how special our NHS is and the staff within.  These two woman credit to the NHS, compassion, care and respect shown to my husband and myself truly exceptional and I can't thank them enough for how they made us both feel today.  Remember being told when younger to treat people like your own and that was clear from the moment we arrived with Louise and Georgie

Dear Annie65432

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was delighted to hear the care and treatment your husband received from our staff was to a high standard and he felt well cared for.

It was also great to hear how the staff showed compassion and a caring nature throughout his stay and made him feel as comfortable as possible in what I can only imagine was a very anxious time for you both.

I have passed on your thanks to the team including Louise and Georgie who were very touched to receive such high praise.

Kind regards

Kevin
