"The care I received was exceptional"

About: Victoria Hospital / Surgical High Dependency

(as the patient),

I was recently transferred from Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline to the Victoria In Kirkcaldy after my gall bladder removal.  My heart was racing post operation.  The care I received was exceptional. The staff led by Lucy were amazing.  Lucy was so calm and reassuring as they were working on me to reduce my heart rate I felt safe and in good hands.

Hannah, my night nurse, was amazing - kind, very attentive and reassuring.  Alice my day nurse was brilliant again kind and attentive.  Everyone on this ward is a credit to the NHS and worth their weight in gold.  Words cannot express my gratitude to you all for my care.  Wishing Lucy and her staff all the best for the future xx
