My husband and I have been patients of this Surgery for 15 years, until we recently moved, when we had to re-register with a more local GP, as per NHS rules. This was a sad time for us, because the trust we have built up with this Surgery and its wonderful Staff is irreplaceable, including all areas of the Practice.
My husband is recovering from surgery for a cancer on his eyelid, and also suffers from Trigeminal Neuralgia, which has been greatly exacerbated by the procedure. We were very worried about the whole thing, but the quality of care he has received at Reach Healthcare has been second to none. Their doctors are accessible, extremely knowledgeable and always sympathetic and understanding. Their expertise is second to none. My husband was reassured and booked in quickly to see a consultant at a good, local hospital, which carried out the procedure, liaising with his GP at Reach, who made sure he had everything he needed, including very welcome moral support. His needs and mine can be quite complex, and have changed somewhat over the years, for example, I also recently asked for support to apply for a medical pension, and I was extremely gratified by the detailed and very relevant letter I was provided with. Our needs have been quite varied, but Reach have never fallen short of meeting them, in a friendly, professional and caring way. I have found that I can talk to the Admin Staff, the Pharmacist, the Nurse or the Doctors about any issues I need to, and all have gone out of their way to make sure that, at the end of the day, my problem is taken care of properly and thoroughly. I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for my family both recently and over the years. We are sad to lose them, but if you are looking for a modern, professional and ultimately caring, GP Practice, this is one that you should look at first.
