My son fractured his femur and had to be put into traction for 9 weeks on Rainbow ward.
As a family we were all so very well looked after by the daring, professional and friendly team on rainbow ward. Nothing was ever too much trouble!
My son had never spent a night away from us since he had been born so this was a hugely traumatic experience for the whole family.
Not only was his medical care exemplary but perhaps just as importantly the staff team of nurses and play workers worked tirelessly on my sons emotional well being which resulted in him developing confidence and feeling safe and secure amongst his new friends.
I cannot praise the whole team highly enough, their dedication, empathy and knowledge are astounding.
THANKYOU for making a very traumatic experience much more easy to bear! !
