For a long time I struggled. I went to see my GP with what I thought was a physical problem. I couldn't sleep and was on edge. He found nothing wrong physically but asked me questions about how I felt. He referred me to Inclusion Matters but I just couldn't face it so I struggled on alone.
After six weeks I went back to my GP and this time followed it up. It began with a telephone consultation that I think I cried throughout but then I was I introduced to Barbara whom I met with very two weeks and slowly I began to feel better. It wasn't easy or pain free yet the mist lifted as she challenged and supported me. I am still working things through but no longer on my own.
