(as a service user),

I had the joys of meeting David and Vikki yesterday, when I had to go in for a minor operation. Let's just say I was rather nervous (this was my first ever time in a hospital).

I didn't know what to expect as I have tried to call about the procedure a few times but either was no answer or the person answering the phone didn't have any answers, promised I'd get a call back but this never happened and a fear of needles seriously didn't help me.

When I went in I was rather apprehensive, had loads of questions and really nervous. David has a really good sense of humour meanwhile being super professional. Vikki was there the whole time talking to me, asking questions whilst the procedure was going on which made me feel at ease and took my mind off of what was actually happening. Both of them went through the "aftercare"(do's and not to do's) with me.

Honestly I couldn't fault them. They were both really professional and funny which helped a lot. I'd lie if I say I want to go through "experience" ever again but if I do hope I get David and Vikki, I hope I can make up for being a nervous wreck at the beginning of the procedure. I would like to thank them again for looking after me and handling my "freakout" so well. Keep up the good work.🙏🖤

Dear D.S.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a positive review.

It is great to hear that Vicki and I were able to make your visit a little less traumatic.

Sorry to hear about your difficulties getting an answer on the telephone. The only mitigation I can give is that it rings constantly and the desk staff do their best, while checking in patients, making appointments and numerous other tasks.

Not much use to know if you can't get through though:(

Hopefully we were able to answer all your enquiries before starting the procedure.

As for your "freakout", that was nothing. If you ever have to pierce me with anything THEN you'll know what a proper freakout is!:)

Hope all continues to go as planned and you didn't feel too uncomfortable afterwards

All the best

David

Good afternoon David

Thank you so much for "getting back to me" and I would like to apologize for spelling Vicky's name wrong. I looked at the sheet she gave me and realised I messed it up. Maybe you removed the last remaining brain cells I have left.

Don't worry I can't pierce you either unless you sign a consent form so you're safe.

Anyhoo thank you so much for taking good care of me I really appreciate it.🙏🖤
