"Post surgery care after discharge"

About: Fife Community Services / Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) Randolph Wemyss Hospital / Community Rehab

(as the patient),

I am now into my fifth week of dressings care & changing at Randolph Wemyss Hospital at Buckhaven, organised by my GP at Airlie Surgery. I have been assigned Nurse "Louise" who has made me feel comfortable, very caring & attentive (twice per week). I have nothing but praise and thanks for every effort she has made. Thanks so much.

She will be over the moon to read your feedback and I shall be sure to share with colleagues in the wider CTAC team.

Once again thank you for taking the time to post and wish you well in your recovery

Best Wishes

Many Thanks for your kind words Olivia. Louise has been such an attentive & caring Nurse, so a few appropriate words from me seem very much deserved. Equally I am very pleased with this service provided by NHS Fife and all involved. It makes the patients journey more bearable & is very well supported. Cheers Erik.

Dear Viking Erik,

I am Tanya, Louise's line-manager - and I am absolutely delighted to see this post on NHS Fife social media also.

It is fantastic that you have taken the time to share your positive experience, and also for Louise to be recognised for the hard work, and commitment she continues to demonstrate in providing high standards of care to our patients. She always strives to put her patients' needs at the heart of her care, and your feedback confirms this too.

Happy healing, and warm wishes for the rest of your patient journey,

Tanya

Thanks Tanya. Personally I feel that Louise has made me feel so comfortable & assured by her diligent care. Next week should likely be my last session with Louise, as the healing process is just about complete. A massive thanks to all involved in providing the service, it is invaluable & a huge benefit for all patients who are referred to CTAC. You take care too. Erik
