"Outpatient appointment"

My husband had an outpatient appointment today at area 2, Larbert hospital. He even received a txt message confirming this .
However, when we arrived we were told his appointment was actually in Stirling.
We were given an apology but I don't think this is good enough. My husband does not keep well and is not able to drive to Stirling. This was discussed at a previous appointment.
Just feel that no one listens and that no one actually cares.

Good morning,
I am very sorry to read about your experience, that must have been extremely frustrating for you and your husband. If it is OK, could you please send me your husband's details (name, date of birth and postcode) to my email address, alex.eadie@nhs.scot. I would like to look into the letter and text message generated and why this happened so we can avoid this happening for anyone else again. Please don't share any personal details on this public website.
