Anything else?
I had to attend the Medical Day Care Unit for a Lumbar Puncture. I was very anxious about this as i had had a horrific previous experience of the same procedure at a different hospital. When i got to the ward i was met by friendly staff who did their best to put me at ease. The specialist nurse who completed the Lumbar Puncture is obviously an expert in the procedure, What had previously taken 3 Doctors 6 attempts to do the specialist nurse managed with no problem at her first attempt. !! The ward was clean and well organised and i was offered something to eat and a hot drink prior to discharge. The positive experience has gone some way into erasing the previous experience from my mind
