"Totally re-energised my view of what getting active could really mean"

About: Ayrshire & Arran Community Services / HARP (Heart and Respiratory Patients)

(as a service user),

After suffering a suspected TIA that was later confirmed as a bleed in the brain and fair to say that I was knocked for six and unsure of what I could/should do in terms of recovery and how much physical activity one could safely engage in. I was referred to the HARP program. Kirsty, Eilidh and Zoe were all absolutely fantastic and totally re-energised my view of what getting active could really mean after the above event.

Dear Cardiac couch potato

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to share this lovely feedback about the care provided by the HARP Team.

What an anxious and scary time it must have been for you. I am delighted to hear that you received such professional and compassionate care from our staff and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments to the wider HARP Team, and in particular with all of the staff you have mentioned by name. I know they will be delighted to receive this feedback and it will be really encouraging for them to know that you felt so well supported by them.

Please accept my good wishes for your ongoing recovery and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind Regards

Pamela
