I had an appointment recently for a lady procedure that I need done, this took me a long time to agree to go due to having a very traumatic experience a while ago and stopped me going to these kind of appointments which I know is wrong but it's how I felt about it.
I had a few weeks to get used to the idea and was very worried and I have a lot more issues now that I did years ago especially with my limbs as I have in the last year been diagnosed with Stage 3 Lipoedeama, so my limbs are very very heavy and painful so was worried how I was going to manage to get this done.
I was advised to make an appointment with Dr Masterson as she is supposed to be the best in these situations when there is a patient with difficult issues.
She invited me into her clinical room and we spoke and I told her all my worries and issues, she listened to me did not judge my body as believe me I have had a few unpleasant issues with other medical departments and it was totally heartbreaking and degrading.
She talked me through everything that was happening step by step and I managed my procedure without any drama, so I just wanted to acknowledge Dr Masterson for her time and professionalism and making me feel safe.
"Listened to me and did not judge"
