"Exceptional cardiomyopathy care and support"

About: Golden Jubilee National Hospital / Cardiac Surgery University Hospital Hairmyres / Cardiology

(as a service user),

Excellent ongoing care from the specialist cardiomyopathy nurses. I am currently being cared for by Hairmyres and the Golden Jubilee cardiomyopathy teams.

I would like to praise both hospitals for their exceptional care and compassion that has been given to me since March 2022. A special mention to specialist cardiomyopathy nurse Claire who has taken great care of me since my unfortunate diagnosis.

Claire has gone above and beyond caring for me, helping me come to terms with my critical illness and preparing me for my surgery at the Golden Jubilee next week. She has so much knowledge in her role and can put you at ease very quickly.

From consultant to admin and nursing staff, each and every staff member in outpatients has shown true care and compassion towards me at every telephone call and appointment. Thank you all for your ongoing support towards me, it is very much appreciated.
