As someone with previous gynaecology issues and a Caesarean section a few months ago, I was nervous about my smear test. However, I knew the importance of having this check.

The medical practice has recently joined with a new practice and I didn’t know the nurse who I would be seeing.

As soon as Sister Kate met me, she put my mind to ease as she had read up on my file. She was very knowledgeable and shared lots of information with me. I felt very relaxed before the exam as Kate had been kind and understanding.

I am grateful for Kate’s manner and it made the exam quick and easy.

Thank you for sharing your recent experience in your GP practice in getting a cervical smear test done.

I can only imagine how worrying it could be attending an appointment for such an intimate procedure when you don't know the staff member that will be performing this. I am so pleased that Sister Kate was able to put you at ease with her knowledge and kind manner.
