"day surgical patient - Gate 40"

Anything else?

I was a day patient on Gate 40 9/9/13 and cannot fault my stay. The ward, anaesthesia room and recovery room were spotlessly clean as were the corridors I was taken down. The nurses were attentive and caring and treated me with respect and dignity as did the surgeon. One was especially welcoming and comforting and even though very busy she remained very efficient. The only part of my stay I did not like was being shepherded en mass from the waiting room at check-in to the smaller waiting room on the Gate - a little bit too impersonal. Other than that, I cannot fault the stay I had. Likewise when I had full thyroid removal in 2008, I found the hospital staff excellent and the hospital very clean. Thank you to all who take care of me.
