"No closer to an appointment"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Gastroenterology

(as a parent/guardian),

After posting previously about issues we are experiencing with the gastro waiting list, the story continues.

During this time the waiting list has increased from 30+ weeks to 44 weeks and now suddenly we are looking at the year mark for a possible appointment.

We've been told since late last year that it won't be long until your child gets seen by gastro. My child has had daily stomach problems, that various health care professionals are aware of, but they keep on telling us that it won't be long now until you get that gastro appointment.

Lots of emails and letters have been written, lots of phone calls have been made but will my child get an appointment by November? Who knows, and it seems that nobody cares.
