"Excellent care"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 26, 27, 61 & 62 )

(as a service user),

I attended A&E after developing cellulitis from a dog bite.

I was treated with care and  attention from the first nurse I saw for triage at A&E until initial treatment there and throughout my time as an in patient in Ward 62. The nurses and doctors could not have been more caring, reassuring and helpful. The domestic staff were really friendly and my room was spotless and cleaned with care.

Dear grateful 22

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was sorry to hear you had to attend the A&E Department after developing cellulitis from a dog bite.

I was however delighted to hear the care and treatment you received from our staff was to a high standard and you felt well cared for.

It was great to hear how the staff took the time to make you feel comfortable and showed a professional and caring nature throughout your stay.

I will be happy to pass on your thanks to all the staff who I'm sure will be touched to hear you had such a pleasant experience while under their care.

Kind regards

Kevin
