Whilst I was at Sherwood Oaks there were doors slamming constantly, alarms repeatedly going off behind reception, where the staff are too busy talking about personal topics to mind. But the icing on the cake for me was listening to a staff member (30 minutes after a fire alarm test), explaining to a another staff member how in the case of a fire, people on the wards and upstairs can't get out without keys and they don't usually take keys upstairs. The other staff member confirmed it had been like that for a while
