Anything else?
I would like to thank all the staff in A & E, Ward 8, Ward 9, Ward 7 and Ward 3. My mum was admitted to A & E not really knowing what was wrong with her. She was transferred to Ward 8 to be assessed and then to Ward 9. The only reason she was transferred to Ward 7 before Ward 3 - I think was because they needed her bed and it was temporary before a bed was available in Ward 3 I cannot thank everyone enough for looking after mum or should I say "putting up with her" in all of the wards. Mum is 85 almost 86 she has had lots of tests done but nothing medical was found to be wrong with her I just think over the last few months she has become really frail. She did have a pacemaker fitted around March time and I am not sure if this really helped or hindered her. Everyone I spoke to said she was "lovely". I know she was hard work but everyone seemed to have lots of patience with her. Mum is now in a home in Crewe, she has only been there a week but again is being well looked after the staff there are really nice and understand fully what her needs are. Thank you again to all at Macclesfield Hospital that I met and spoke to.
