"A great experience with my new consultant"

I had an antenatal appointment with my consultant, Doctor Chinnadourai. I was greeted by a lovely member of staff at reception who instructed me to check in on the machine. It was straightforward and easy to use.

The waiting room was lovely and clean, with plenty of seats and room for patients waiting. My appointment ran slightly late but I was happy to wait. I know they are very busy. I was seen after about 15 minutes of waiting.

I was called in by a lovely friendly staff member called Stella. I then was taken in to meet Doctor Chinnadourai, who was very nice and welcoming. She really explained everything we discussed very thoroughly and kept me well informed of everything throughout the appointment.

The doctor then took me over to do a scan on me and was very good at talking us through the scan and explaining to us what she could see. Doctor Chinnadourai was very reassuring and made us feel very relaxed during our appointment. I had a very good experience today in Daisy Hill Maternity Outpatients department.
