"Covid Ward."

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Female Medical

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I had been feeling unwell for a number of days before I was admitted to Female Medical in Daisy Hill Hospital.  It all started with a very bad cough that just got progressively worse over the week, my wife phoned for an ambulance to A&E and I was admitted with Covid.  Thankfully I am negative today, but I still have a really bad cough which catches my breath. The nurses have been really great and have made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay.  I miss having visitors, but I have used the Virtual Visiting service over the last number of days which has been great, I even had a facetime call with my son in Australia.  This is an amazing service.
