3 North has been manageable, but what's weighing down the ward is having COVID, which I understand is nobody's fault but its just been hard on us patients. I've come to truly appreciate how bad COVID really is, having tested positive for it while in the hospital. Its just hard being in isolation alongside fellow COVID patients.
Apart from that my experience has been rather pleasant, and I must admit that the bed is surprisingly comfortable. Time here tends either crawl by or fly past, particularly when there's something interesting on TV, like a football match. I'm glad that everyone in this bay is very nice and we all get along and chat which has also been a way to make the day pass.
I can't praise the staff enough, they've been exceptional. From them having conversations with us and ensuring we are all comfortable and okay is great. They're very good at keeping us informed about our care .
