About: Craigavon Area Hospital

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have been here for a couple of hours just waiting in the emergency department.

The main foyer seems to be fine, there is plenty of seating and a shop and stuff. There is a good amount of information around the place too. 

I think a good inclusion for the main foyer is a coffee shop or café that people could use while the wait on people visiting different areas of the hospital. I know there is a canteen but it isn't the easiest accessed, so a small café here would be good.

Good afternoon Decde74 - thank you for sharing your experience while attending at Craigavon Area Hospital. We did use to have a small coffee bar in the main foyer but this was closed during Covid. It is however now opened up in a portacabin outside the main entrance to the hospital and serves a good selection of hot and cold snacks.

I am glad to note your comment about lots of information about, we do like to try to keep relevant up to date information displayed for our service users.
