"Heart Failure Diagnosis"

Having suffered from heart issues for a good few years I have finally been diagnosed with heart failure, which came as a bit of a shock.

I was subsequently referred to Nurse Marie, and what a ray of sunshine she turned out to be. Through her total caring and always positive approach, Marie very quickly realised that there were other things (personal) going on at the same time that were affecting/causing my very low feelings and overall outlook on things.

Through her sensitive and caring approach, Marie quickly put me at ease and I felt able to unload and talk about these other issues.

Completely unfazed Marie was able to point me in the right direction to get help with my problems whilst at the same time addressing the primary problem of my heart failure.

I can honestly say, with Marie's much appreciated help, I am now in a much better place.

I know, due to the nature of my illness, I will (probably) still have issues/problems to be addressed in the future. However I now feel, thanks to Marie, in a mindset where, I am better placed to tackle and deal with these and to know that Marie is there to speak to if (and when :-)) I need to.
