"Explained the procedure thoroughly"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Medical/Gastroenterology (Ward 11) University Hospital Hairmyres / Surgical Receiving Unit (Ward 4)

(as a service user),

I was admitted to Hairmyres Hospital after severe Gallbladder pain and given a procedure called an ERCP to remove Gall Stones in my Bile Duct.

This procedure was performed by Dr Sutherland Consultant Gastroenterologist and what a guy he is.

Explained the procedure to me thoroughly and managed to remove the stones for me and place a stent.

After the procedure was complete and I returned to the Surgical Ward 4 to recover later that evening he then popped his head in to check I was Okay and managing well etc.

I feel I absolutely have to give him a mention because he is one of a kind, genuinely nice guy who cares about what he does and the care he gives to his patients.

I am so grateful to him and honestly can't thank him enough for what he done for me.

Thank you Dr Sutherland.
