About: Thurrock Services / IPS Employment Service

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I was referred to Thurrock IPS Employment Service in November 2022 by my Therapist.

Julie is my Employment Specialist and she listened to my concerns and helped me work with my employer so that I could work from home 2 days a week. Initially there was some resistance from my employer, however, Julie worked hard and explained that I should be treated fairly not equally as not everyone needed the same support as I do. I am now working in a much better environment which is really supporting my mental health.

I would just like to say to Julie, thank you for all of the help you have given me as it has made big changes that wouldn't of otherwise happened.
