"Follow Up appointment"

I waited almost 2 months after a procedure to just be told what I already knew. My first appointment 6 weeks previously was cancelled.

I knew following my procedure I required surgery, however they waited to tell me at my follow up they hadn't sent off the request yet. 

I also requested if my surgery referral could be referred out to other hospitals within a 2 hour drive to speed up the process to be advise no and I would need to speak with my GP. I have already spoken with my GP about this prior to my appointment to be told I need to ask the department I'm dealing with so I feel like everyone is passing the book. 

Nobody can give me any time frames for surgery, for what is a straight forward day surgery. Meanwhile whilst I live in pain and discomfort until I've had my op.
