My mother has just been recovering from a total knee replacement and has had excellent patient-focused care from Forth Valley NHS. Mr Preiss, orthopaedic surgeon explained the procedure fully and was very positive about the outcome. The staff in day surgery were very caring and supportive; from the ladies who gave the dinners out, porters, staff nurses and physio assistants.
I would like to say a huge thank you to Lorraine and Tracey (arthroplasty nurses) for the time, advice and care they gave my mum. The time you spent with her really added to her recovery. Thank you!
I also want to thank the physiotherapist, Ross. He saw my mum at the physio department at Stirling and he was so positive, reassuring and motivated my mum to push herself through her rehabilitation.
We’ve had excellent care from Forth Valley and excellent communication.
