"Brilliant care on the daisy ward"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Daisy Paediatric Ward Daisy Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I took my son into ED on Saturday, but he was sent home and got a lot worse, so I took him back in on Sunday and he was then admitted up to the daisy ward. The nurses on the ward are fantastic. They have all been so friendly and kind. They are looking after my son so well. The doctors are brilliant, and have been very thorough and keeping me so well informed of everything they are doing.

The ward is lovely and clean.

My son loved the food when he got his appetite back. He thought the chicken nuggets were delicious and he loved the chocolate brownie.

The care has been brilliant and I am very happy with everything so far.
