I have consistently received outstanding care at Urban Village Medical Practice, Ancoates, Manchester. The reception staff are receptive and always really helpful when I contact them with a query or for an appointment. The fact I also have the option to book an online appointment is so convenient as I work full time. My experience has been that all the staff at the practice are caring, compassionate, energised; always ready to assist. The doctors and the nurse practitioners convey knowledge, skill and passion about their various roles and always take the time to listen. I never feel my appointment is being rushed for the next patient. For example, I had an on line consultation and discussion with my GP regarding what transpired to be an outbreak of shingles around my eye in March 2022. I was really impressed with how efficient my GP was in providing a same day prescription to address the symptoms and in speaking with a consultant at the Manchester Eye Hospital for advice, which led to a same day appointment with the specialist. My GP also took the time to contact me a few days later to discuss how my condition was progressing and whether my symptoms had eased which, under their care and guidance, they fortunately had. I am so grateful to have access to such an outstanding GP practice who always go above and beyond in the service and care they consistently provide.
