"Teeth extraction"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

(as the patient),

I attended Maxillofacial Department at Barnstaple Hospital for all my remaining upper teeth extraction. From arriving the team made me feel very relaxed. After the extraction which went very well the team offered me advice on aftercare of my mouth. I found the team to be extremely supportive and professional. Unfortunately later on in the day I had to attend A&E because of extensive bleeding but this had nothing to do with the team.

Hi

thank you so much for taking the time to send in your feedback. I am pleased that you were made to feel very relaxed and you received advice on aftercare. I will pass on your kind comments to the team involved in your treatment. I was sorry to hear that you had extensive bleeding after your extractions, I hope this has resolved, please do not hesitate to contact the department if you have further problems. There are dental nurses available to offer advice over the phone and if appropriate, we can make a further appointment for you to see one of our clinicians. I wish you a speedy recovery

kind regards

Dianne

Senior Dental Nurse.
