About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Daisy Paediatric Ward

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

Daisy ward has been such a good experience. It looks really modern and most of it looks new. The domestic staff must do a very good job on it. The ward is clean as are the rooms. The TV is nice as it helps distract my son. 

The staff are great. They take great pride in their work and you can see that in the way they treat people. The treatment they give is top class and they do not carry anything out without the knowledge and consent of a parent. They have answered all my questions so far.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and I am delighted to read how impressed you are with the care you and your son have received whilst on Daisy. We are very fortunate to have a great team in Daisy and all staff go above and beyond for patients and their families. It is wonderful to hear how supportive and attentive the team have been and I will be delighted to share this lovely feedback with them. I am pleased to hear such positive feedback on the environment as we strive to ensure patients and their families have a comfortable stay and I will be sure to share your kind words with the Domestic Team who take such pride in their work.
