About: West Cornwall Hospital (Penzance) / Outpatients

(as the patient),

Was met by Neil who made me feel very at ease and directed me to the right rooms and not apprehensive about my appointment.  All the nurses who did my pressures and scan were were friendly and professional. My consultant was Mr Ali who I had not seen before. He was very approachable and answered all my questions thoroughly explaining everything.  It was actually an enjoyable visit and not as traumatic as it could have been. A very friendly and efficient department.

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us. I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you on here.

It is great to see that you were directed straight to the room, that you didn't feel apprehensive about your appointment and that all the nurses performing the procedure were friendly and professional.

I am pleased that the consultant you hadn't seen before was approachable and explained everything so well. I am so pleased that your visit was sop positive.

I am writing to you as a member of the Patient Expense team but, I will forward your kind words onto the relevant team, with a special mention to Neil and Mr Ali through our Learning From Excellence Scheme.,
