About: Church View Surgery

I required urgent advice on Sat 9th Oct asweb site told me that this was the route. At 1 minute past 08.00 when you tel. Con. Lines opened for cross gates branch, every minute it told me that I was important to you and hold for next available operator. After 1 full hour of being on hold I gave up! Question. What is the point of having a process for urgent information if no one picks up the damm phone. I suggest you have an issue here that needs solving?

Email response fine but please no fobbing off. A detailed response would be appreciated.

Dear patient, I apologise for the delay in replying to your feedback. I can confirm that we do not have a surgery on Saturday mornings at Church View Surgery and it is therefore not staffed.

I am at a loss to explain what has happened here and can only assume there has been a problem with our telephone system which should have directed you to 111 if your medical complaint could not wait until we reopened.

We are constantly reviewing our appointments and telephone systems and are grateful for all feedback given. As a result we have recently made changes to the appointment system to provide flexibility for our patients to book appointments in advance.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback.

J Sutcliffe

Practice Manager
