About: Independent Living Centre

(as the patient),

Felt very welcomed on arrival

Ladies were very patient and kind with me in regards to my pain levels at the time

We talked about sensitive issue which they were very lovely in understanding my needs and struggles in my daily life

Showed me a range of equipment that may help me at home better

I was sized up for a chair which helped me work out what I needed

They also showed me pillows and gadgets I could use around the home

Thank you for giving me a better understanding into what I could use to help me

Wished I’d had a little more time to try a scooter or get some idea of prices but unfortunately time run out

We're very glad to know that you have felt supported during your visit to the centre and that you have found your assessment with the therapist helpful and have been given beneficial information about equipment that could help you at home.

Please feel free to ring us anytime if you need more information or if you would like to talk to a member of the Therapy team for a possible second visit to the centre to look at mobility scooters. Thank you for your reply,your be pleased to know I’ve already bought some pillows and support wedge to help me sleep a little better.

thank again for your help and support and guidance on what would be useful for me to Use.

I will definitely take you up on the offer to look into mobility scooters soon
