About: South Tyrone Hospital / Ward 1 (Stroke care)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I feel like my care has been pretty alright so far,  I am happy enough. I have been treated well by staff however I have found some night staff are are inconsiderate. The quality of care depends on which staff member you get some are amazing but some are quite poor.

I feel everything's well explained however the ward is noisy at night

Good afternoon thank you for taking the time to leave this valuable feedback.

I am sorry to hear that however you have found some night staff to be inconsiderate and feel that the the quality of care depends on which staff member you get.

After receiving your feedback the ward manager will increase collecting patients feedback regarding the care they received at night to get assurances that the same standard is maintained between day and night shifts.

This feedback will be shared with staff on ward 1 Loane House

It is reassuring to know that you feel things have explained to you well and that you have been treated well by staff.

The trust values are compassion, openness and honesty, working together and excellence.

I am sorry that you have not experienced this so far.

I would hope that you see an improvement.

Unfortunately noise is something that we cannot always control as the care we provide is 24/7 and to ensure we provide essential care. But this will be shared with staff and we will try to reduce any noises we can.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for this feedback and wish you a speedy recovery.
