"Neurodevelopmental pathway"

My child was referred in July 2021. I phoned in January of 2023 for an update on waiting times to be told they were working on November 2019 referrals. Shockingly over a 3 year wait. I then phoned in August 2023 for another update and was told they are now working on January 2020. 8 months and they have only managed to work through a couple of months worth of referrals. The waiting times are shocking and I feel the system is failing my child. It isn't acceptable and things just seem to be getting worse.
