"All the staff really work their socks off"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Acute Medical Initial Assessment

(as a relative),

My mum suffers from dementia and was requiring admission to ward 101 at Aberdeen Royal due to falls and struggling at home a few weeks ago.

All the staff were outstanding. My mum was refusing to eat, Rachel one of the Senior nurses who was helping put out meals was fantastic, she took time to sit with my mum, cut her sandwich up and a banana too so it was like picnic food, which she loves and she ate some.

It was something as little as this that helped my mum a lot. All the staff really work their socks off and deserve a thank you.

Dear Nina3,

Many thanks for taking the time to feedback about the team in Ward 101 and in particular Rachel regarding the care your Mum received. I will ensure this is shared with them and know how much it will mean to them.

I hope your Mum is recovering well

Julie
